kind of a quick week!

It seems like it was just the weekend but here it is Thursday already!!
Monday was spent busily running around getting things I wanted for Tuesday.
Tuesday, Paul and I had a date at the movies!! Kind of literally!! We were asked to be extras for the George Clooney movie they were shooting some scenes at the Detroit airport. We had to be there at 5:00 am!!! Rediculous!! Thank you sooooooooooooooo much mom and dad for helping out with the kids so we could take advantage of the opportunity. i am so thankful for all you both do for us. I am highly doubtful if we'll be seen in the movie but hey I got to stand like 15-20 feet away from the most handsome man!!! Oh yes and I spent the day with Paul too!! When he wasn't ditching me for his other acting buddies!! Whatevah buddy!!!!
Yesterday was catch up day!!! I needed to get laundry washed, folded, and put away too!! The boys have the system nailed down and Molly is getting there!! She likes to help fold!!!
Today I had my WW meeting and I am down another pound!! So today I actually hit my 5% weight loss!! Yay me!! Still have a long way to go but its really nice seeing the scale going in reverse!!
Tomorrow I really need to do some grocery shopping and I'd love to run to Target and maybe even Kohl's.

Saturday

Today Nick, Joe and I participated in the Walk for Warmth. It is a 3 mile walk and the funds raised goes to THAW (The Heat and Warmth fund) The KIDS club at church was supposed to participate but long story short it just turned out to be us. All together there were about 100-150 people partcipating from high schools,churches, and area business/corporations.
Thankfully, the nasty snow we were supposed to get held off for all but the last 15 minutes of the walk. My face sure is windburned though the wind was very bad.
One good thing happened though! I won a door prize!!! I won a basket that contained two mugs, a box of hot cocoa mixes, some ppretzels and a hat,glove,and scarf set. I will be donating the hat,gloves, and scarf next winter to a collection.
This afternoon the boys had an indoor soccer game. it is a bit frusterating for the team because they play against a few travel teams who still hold practices during the winter. Whereas our practices end even before the fall games start!! So they feel a bit defeated!
After soccer we went to dinner at Boston's it was yummy but I ate to much! I even asked for a box at the very begining and boxed up half my meal!! Oh well!! Why did the waiter need to look so shocked that i wanted a box at the begining of the meal! That was not necassary!!
After we came home from all of that I went and shoveled the 4 inches or so that we received. I am officially EXHAUSTED!!!!!!!!

wooohooo yay for me!!

I received my very first(many more to come) 10 pound weight loss ribbon!! I had to laugh though! I told Paul I got my ribbon today and he said...oh one of those sashes beauty queens wear?? Umm no honey!!! But it pretty much makes you feel that your a beauty queen when ya earn one!!! it is hanging proudly on my refridgerator!!!

Day 3 of WB

So today Nick,Joe, and I each painted a birdhouse to hang outside this spring. Molly painted a tiny little canvas print of a castle. She did pretty good so we will hang it up probably in her bedroom. Michaels has these in a section of their store for $1.00 each so maybe we'll get a few other ones. We looked quick and I saw a car and a plane I think so i'll dig around more next time we are there. Other then that it was just laundry and dishes as usual. Tonight we had philly cheesesteaks,french fries, and green beans we,ll technically the guys did!! Molly ate a hard boiled egg(with yolk removed per her request), some french fries, and some green beans(i had to sprinkle a little salt on them) we normally are not salt eaters but some people are I guess shes one of them!! Hey , if salt(a little) gets her to willingly eat corn, beans and what ever other veggies I serve then salted it will be!!

Winter Break Day 2

Well actually day two was fairly uneventful! Nick and I played some of his OutDoor Active Life for the Wii that was fun!! I actually beat him in the jumproping game so I think today we may have a jumpoff!!!
Nick also helped me make dinner. We tried a new Rachel Ray recipe called Chicken Thigh Pie the guys really liked it today! Molly of course would not touch it!! There were sweet potatoes in it which I found out Joe and Paul actually do not care for but they didnt mind them in the recipe! Yay!! Gotta get us all eating healthy!!

Winter Break day 1

I think today went pretty well! Lets see Joe and Molly were up first. Well technically Paul was up and out of the house first. He had a commercial shot to go on today so he left me in charge of his business phone..yay...ummmm not!!! hahaha! Anyways, they got up and I got them breakfast. They played pretty well together today. Nick slept until around 9:30, I guess he still needed to get caught up on sleep.They played outside some of the day and Nick played Guitar Hero over at our nieghbors house.
I did get a lesson in first impressions today. I was making dinner (german cabbage stew with sausage and dumplings) and someone knocked at the door Nick answered it and called me to the door. I think I looked pretty mad and it turned out to be our new nieghbor hahaha!! So I had to apologize to him for looking so ticked! Then I had to go move pauls truck that we had parked there to make the empty house look "lived in"
After dinner Paul got home and I took the boys to The Christmas Tree Shop and picked up a few things for St. Patricks Day then we ran to Michaels and I picked up a few bird houses that we will paint on Wednesday. Pretty happy with today, oh I also cleaned the bathroom and did 3 loads of laundry.
